while glasses has been getting drunk on cake, i'm at home messing around with my craft knife and paper trying to make decorations for my room.
i found an AWESOME blog called 'scherenschnitte' (look it up!) and it's all about paper cutting, and it has some free paper templates which i printed out and cut. i got some canvas from lincraft and a moldy book from savers, so i could make a background for my paper cuttings.
do you know how difficult it is to find paper suitable for paper cutting? the video tutorial ont he blog said origami paper was best, except melbourne doesn't exactly have many origami stores, so i just went a got some dark cardstock and painted it black.
there's a guy cleaning out roof at the moment, because it leaks when it rains and dad wanted to get it fixed, except the company said that they couldn't fix it unless it was cleaned, so there's a guy with a hose (like the one at marshmead, glasses!) that's blasting all the dirt off the roof and stuff.
it's really loud.
